1/31/12

Today was kind of ruff. I had my spreadsheets lab, nothing special. Afterwards I had to use a lab computer to run crystal ball for excel for a class of mine. After some hours at engineering campus, I had phys at main campus. New section, so obviously we had a reading quiz, even though I didn't know so I just went off of my knowledge from highschool. After that I went to get my shot. Here's some cazy things that happened. I brought up my vials from home and they never took them out of the box nor did they take out my info sheet. They said that I was 2 weeks late, and I said, "no that can't be right." I was told to check my spot in the refrigerator, and they weren't there. After some looking, found the vials and the paperwork still in the box I brought them up in. I was on schedule, as my calender said. I read the wall street journal at the library, because some weird things are happening in delivery and I'm getting mine at weird times. Now for the worst of all. I as doing phys homework, and I have some crazy stories with this. One problem I've worked on all week I couldn't get an answer. I have been told that "if it wasn't explained in class it's in the book." I read that section over and over and the formula wasn't in the book, nor was it explained in class. I heard that if you google it you can get the answer. I wanted the formula and it gave me the formla. I was right, the formula wasn't in the book nor was it in class. What the hell? Now there's this question and I couldn't get that either. I got the formulas but it says that I'm wrong. I looked it up and found maybe I missed this, again wrong. I tried 4 different methods and still wrong. I was ready to do some real dammage when it seemed like maybe I just didn't have the right units. But wrong. Then maybe I just needed to inverse it because I had to solve for period (sec/rev) but it was in rev/sec, but alas still wrong. Then there's question where there was like velocity and it not being velocity, or something like that. Now for one last craziness. At 9:15 pm, I realize that I needed to print this thing off, and because I'm cheap, like the exercise by necessity, and because I just like being weird, I run down to the computer lab in my spongebob PJs and safety vest. It looked interesting. I'm quite glad today is over. Later.

Woke up at 7, crazing more sleep. I did go to bed an hour eary, but still tired. Had spreadsheets and entre. I had lunch and thought I was gonna be late for phys, but on my way down, I remembered that phys is at 6:30 on mondays. I then came back and atempted more impossible phys homework. I had matrix and them phys quiz. We get 50 minutes a quiz period, but I only needed 5 minutes. It was insanely easy. Just had to plug in an equation to an equation and then run an equations. 4 of those 5 minutes was writing it down. Had my filmakers club meeting. I'm going to get the pictures I'm in from the premier. I'll put those on the blog. Later.

1/28-29/12

Yesterday I had the karate retreat. I slept all the way there. We unpacked and I got all ready to work out. I worked out and I got sore. I haven't worked out in a while, so 6 neer strait hours of working out made my legs quite sore. I took a relaxing dip in the hot tub, but not super long beause I can't stand heat for a while. But it felt good on my sore legs. I would have played some of the pinball they had, but was to tired.

Today I had workout at 8 am. I got my black belt. It feels great. Now no one can mess with me. I read the wall street journal that I missed. I wrote my blog on getting black belt and the journey there. It feels nice to be back. I'm going to sleep well tonight. Later.

Today was entre and phys. I forgot my meds so I wanted food after entre. I had a slice a pizza at engineering campus, and them a bowl of nachos and oreo cake on main campus. I then did homework after taking a short term pill. I wrote my review and blog for The Day Job and the premier respectively. It's great, go read them. I packed up for the karate retreat. It'll be fun. I'm now in the hotel. I showed my friend around who'll be doing a scholarship competition. I wonder if he'll run into a different friend of mine that won the scholarship tomarrow. Had phys lab and lecture. Had dinner with my fall welcome group, or 7 of us. Yeah there were only 7 of the 20 that showed up. Oh well. It was cool catching up with some and hanging out with the others. Today was the premier for The Day Job, and while I didn't have any part in the production or distribution, I did have a stake in advertizing. I taped a poster for the movie to my vest and wore it showing it off to people. I'll do a full blog some time this weekend because there was some serious festivities. I'll also do a review for it. I can't wait until I can tell you where to watch it leagally. Later.

Lets see here, I had spreadsheets, entre, phys, and matrix. I read the wall street journal on the bus. At dinner I ran into an old friend form high school and had dinner with him and his friend. It's alwayse fun having some tme to catch up with olf friends from high school that are here at college with me. Infact one guy is in my physics group and we're both engineers. College couldn't be a fresh start for me if I wanted. Luckily I didn't. My brother sent me a link to a "macs are better than pcs" video. I made a responce to every false claim in the video. To see it all, click here. I'm very PC and speak out against all false clame every chance I get. He knew I'd do that. He knew I'd start "flaming." I took it and played the fool. Tomarrow is the premier for "The Day Job." I'm going to be doing freebies before the show. I'll try to get footage of me doing it. And hopefully someone will take footage and will send it to me. Mondays are hard days, especially without my ID. My breakfast consisted of a power bar and crackers. I wouldn't make any deal of it exept that I need to have food so that I don't get sick on my ADHD medication. Well 8 am on the bus, 8:30 first class. At engineering I had spreadsheets and entre. I got my new ID after I got back form the engineering campus. I like the busy bierd picture better than the sweaty picture. I did my homework and then had matrix. Once matrix was over I had phys and had a quiz in it. I'm glad that it was just the quiz because that meant I could leave when done. Since it's at 6:30 and I don't have any time to go to a dinning hall between 4 and then, so dinner is late on monday. I had my film makers club meeting tonight. We talked mainly about the premier of the movie produced over the summer by our founders. I'm going to be doing gie aways at the premier at the school theatre as part of miller movie. It'll be $1 with ID and $2 without. The movie is called "The Day Job." Later.

Went to church. Ate lunch there because I lost my ID. Gonna get a new one tomarrow if my current MIA one doesn't show up. I cleaned up the salt mine that accumulated in my vestibule. I give it 2 weeks. I tried to do some math but I gave up on it. Hule decided that they want to give me another free trial of Hulu Plus, bringing my grand total to 3. It's 2 weeks. I'll be watching The Cosby Show that's been in my cue since m last free trial. I also will enjoy the few movies that it has that will stream comercial free. I'll never subscribe becuase I don't have something to stream it that isn't my computer nor do I really care for much of the plus only content. But if they'll give it to me for free for a couple of weeks, I will hapily oblige. Besides, my brother will be enjoying it on the xbox at home. Later.

I did my work that is required for entre. I printed off maybe 10 pages of data and stuff. I went to the local icecream shop that accepts dinning dollars. I lost my id somewhere. I need to get a new one on monday. Good thing I got a stock pileof rammen. Saturday is anme night. Watched bleach, FMA, some other series I don't know the name to, and kenkiachi. Tomarrow I'm going to clean up the salt mine in my room. Later.

I had some real ups and downs today. I had entra and phys like every firday. For entre I need to subscribe to the wall street journal. Conserative media in the class room, I know, cazy. Just glad that we're getting both sides of the indoctrination so they cancle out. Any who, I haven't been getting my paper from them. Turns out that they had my information wrong. Instead of 402 they had 401 and instead of -czyk they had -goyk, with the number beeing my dorm room number and the letters being the end to my last name. They also didn't have my phone number or email adress and I'm fairly sure I included that. Oh well, they credited my account. To catch up on what I missed I went to the library and read there, lucky for me they have past issues. I did find a typo in one of the issues, with full call info to be posted on pokematic pictures. It said and I quote in the spirit  the context, "none of the candidates is." Come on, subject verb agreement. In phys my professor wore a shirt that said "it ees not possible, shut up an listen." Ahh college. I did home work. And tomarrow I hope to do some work on the salt deposit I call "the floor." Ahhh winter. Later

I hd my first physics lab today. It was a velocity and acceleration with a toy car lab. I did a similar lab in the 1 week I was in AP physics. I also had phys lecture. I did laundry and washed my sheets for the first time. I also found my flash drive in a pair of jeans before I washed them. Yay. I got my 1 gram silver buffalo bar today. 1 cent listed price, $4.99 shipping, "shipped" in a 44 cent US mail envelope. I knew the shipping was the catch and went with it. But hay, I got the $5 in amazon credit from this great site called swagbucks. It was either the silver buffalo or single volume of classic pokemon manga. Who knows, it may be worth that one day, but it's still cool. Later.

Wednesdays are hard. I had spreadsheets and entre. at the engineering campus. This is what I took away from entre today, "averages are pointless" and "what I am teaching you might not be right." This is going to be an interesting class. I had physics and matrix today as well. Not interesting. Now for some funny. In phys my group did a speed equation. It was basically this.

We had absolute values on the equation and they weren't needed. Just to joke with my proffessor, one guy in my group said in a good russian accent "we don't want numbers to escape so we fence them in." That was quite funny.

Another thing was when I had the wrong time and showed up at the end of the first students for life meeting of the semester. That wouldn't be all that funny if I didn't do the same sort of thing for the first meeting of last semester. I wonder if I'll do the same thing for the first meeting of every semester. Oh well. Lat.

Sorry was to busy yesterday to post. Not much happened. Did some homework and watched TV. I did make a parody weight loss comercial and it's quite funny.
Today had first day of lab for spreadsheets. I then had physics. I was quite tired because I had some trouble sleeping. I took a nap. Got work done. Later.

I slept on the floor last night because my back was hurting. I was awoken by some fighting next door. Some one's head hit the floor. I know what a head hitting lanolium sounds like. It's quite distinct. That's when I moved to mybed. Well I slept for 11 hours and it felt great. When I woke up I could tell that there was lots of partying last night. I went out into the hall and you could just smell the puke. I worked on my math homework and physics homework. I did some work on entrepreneurial work. Think I got most of it done. I then relaxed. I skyped my parents. Nothing super special. Later.

I had my mind blown in my entripreneur class. Physics was normal. Happy friday the 13th. It fits because we got 8-9 inches of snow today and all the local schools in the area were closed, except my college. It was a little hard making it to my classes. Well good thing the dinning hall is conected to my dorm. Someone did do these nice snow drawings by making tracks in the snow. There was a smily face, a heart, and a pease sign. I tried to get a picture but neither my phone nor my camera could take a good picture. Sorry Russia. Yeah I see where my views come from. Most of them come from russia for this blog.

Here's an interesting thing that happened techically tomarrow, or was it at the very end of today? I don't care. I've mentioned my bad neighbors I'm sure. Well one guy started banging on my door say "open up [neighbor name.]" Then he tried opening my door. I lock my door at 10 typically on weekends and just stay locked in incase I forget when I go to bed, and tonight was no different, thankfully. I open the door, say "hello," he's a bit confused since I'm not who he's looking for, he looks at the room number and ocupent sign things that are around my door, realizes he got the wrong room and said "fuck, sorry man," held out his hand for a hand shake, and I shake and say no problem. Maybe he thought I was asleep because I had the lights off, door locked, and in my spongebobs at about midnight. Oh well. It hapens. Later.

I atemted to to do my homework for entrepreneur class, but not so much. I also found my entrepreneur book. It was under some notebooks, where it should be. I prety much tore my part of the rom apart trying to find it. Wow fail. Had Phys and that was that. My cyber clean came in. I'll probably do a review on it. Later

Today kind of sucked. I had my spreadsheets class, and my only gripe is that it's at 8:30. After I had my entrepreneurer class and because Microsoft Office 2010 and 2007 is different, I spent the entire time trying to find the tool and missed the tutorial. What's worse is that I have an assignment that uses it. Oh well I found a tutorial that will help. I had physics and matrix calc. I went to my pro-life club but no one was there. And no sign of my book. Oh well, I'll look really hard for it tomarrow when I have 1 class. Later.

Today was super lazy. My only class today was at 1 pm. It was phys. Well today was a good day to write my reasume for the new production company that we're starting for the film club I'm in. I'm going to need to double check on extra stuff that I need to add that's not on the usual reasume. I also did the phys homework, well some of it, and it didn't take super long. I spent most of the day web surfing and waisting time. Later.

First day back. Befor I talk about my super stressful day, let me tell you about my super stressful dream. I've resently started to know I was dreaming while asleep and have been able to control the outcome. Well last night I had a dream that was shal we say, inceptiony. I have been sleeping in these past 3 weeks because it was break. My first class today was at 8:30 with the bus leaving for the engineering campus at 8. As a 4.0 honor student, I was afraid I'd sleep in and miss the class subconciously. Just wait all this backstory leads to something.

I kept having the nightmare that I was late for the class. First it was 12 noon, then 9, then 8:30 and all other I'm lates. Well while asleep I would realize was all a dream but wouldn't acually wake up. I "woke up" in my dream only to realize that "it's real I'm late!" I would then come to the conclusion that "it's a dream just wake up," but didn't really wake up, just reset the nightmare with a different situation by "waking up while asleep, realize that I'm 'really late,' realize I'm dreaming after some crazy situation" and repeat. It helps that I dream in 3rd person because when my alarm whent off this morning at 7:00 AM and I saw a first person perspective, I knew it was real. There was this one situation that I remember quite vividly. I was back home, realized I was late, and got into a mini-van with some friends whom I know from highschool who are also at college with me. I asked if they could drop me off at the engineering campus but they said they were going to Washington. I was probably about to realize it was a dream and "wake up" anywayse, but then my alarm actually went off and I really woke up.

Ok, so I wake up and get ready for my long, emphasis on LONG, day of classes. I get on the first bus to the engineering campus at 8 am. My dirst calss was my computer spreadsheet class. It started a 8:30 and went untill 9:20. We're going to be doing a lot with spreadsheets. A kind of funny thing was that we need this book but the order wasn't put into the bookstore system so currently we have no book for it. I ordered it today of amazon. Right after that I have my entrepreneur class. It seems right up my ally. We had our first asingment and it's basically optomizing time and I do that on a daily basis for my life. It was increadibly easy. I figured out how to do it within 1 minute of it being asigned. Yay.

Well now I have about 4 hours to use. I did all the homework I was asigned and returned my alergy vials to the health center. I then had my new math class that runs 100 minutes as oposed to the normal 50 mintes. Then 50 minutes afterwards I have physics. My day started at 7:00 am and ended at 7:00 pm. I got the full 12 hours of my concerta. I had my film makers club meeting today and that was good. Quite tired. Later

1/8/12

I'm back to school now. I did some last minute pack up and got into the van. Mom went to get me McDonalds to take on the train but I departed before she got the food. I waved bye to Dad who was there. Good 4 hour train ride. I found out that my oldies station back ho goes very far across the state. It was past half way across when the signal cut out. I read Pokemon Black and White manga volumes 1 and 2 on the way there. I watched the last of disk 2 for my darkwing duck dvd colection. Then packed up and got off.

Now it's never just a trip with me but an adventure. It's sunday, and turns out there's no city buses on sunday. So what did I have to do? Get a cab. I've never taken a cab befor. $9 to get back to campus. Not bad, but I could only find 5 singles and 4 20s. I leave the 5 singles with the cab driver and go around asking if anyone had chance for a 20. I eventually found a 5 in my back pocket so then I payed the man. I lugged all my stuff up the 4 flights of stairs, taking breaks every half floor. I unpack but first had linner. I got the last book I needed and now am done.

Woot. I did mass for the shutins at my local fox station. Read the full blog. I hung out with Darkenedoptimist for the first time this break. That was quite fun. We played ET for the atari 2600, watched kenen and kel on www.90sareallthat.com, and other catching up. For my last dinner while home, we went to chillies. That was really good. When we got home, we all watched An American Carol and we all loved it. My dad and I are conservative, brother libertarianish, and mom has conservative tendancies. We ended the night with a family fire. We have a fire place and that's a fun tradition we have. I also had my last shower where I didn't need shower shoes. I'll miss that. Later.

Lets see, I had my concerta today for the first time in weeks. I'm on break so why focus? I did some packing save for my clothes and computer. I tried to find a Sanchin-ryu class with a buthat would take me there at school. I did find one where the bus could drop me off but I would have to walk more than a mile to the neerest stop and it'd be late. I listened to my vinyl today. Spun some records, going old school. I packed up my penny collection and put it in storage until I come home again. We made a video that crunched the numbers for the 99%ers. Basically saying "while you pay the same percent of your income in taxes, it's really way more than you lead us on to believe."


But the real fun came when I went to my friends eagle court of honor. It was at a local pizza place, with really good pizza. I leadthe Eagle Charge, which is a reminder of what it means to be an eagle. But the really fun part was, since I'm friends with him from highschool and we had this great group of friends that I didn't see over break, I got to see them. That was really fun. We may see the muppet movie together tomarro. Later.

Sorry again for no post yesterday. I'll do it today. Yesterday I went to my old high school and said hi to old teachers and friends that are still there. Yeah I'm friends with underclassmen. It's perfectly normal. After that I went to my grandparents to take down their artificial tree and put it back in the bacement. We watched All in the Family after that. That is a funny series. After that we went to visit my uncle's grave. It doesn't get any easier. I miss him. After the trip to visit, we went out to Logans. We were a little pressed for time because I had to pick up my brother.

Today I took my brother to school, but he wanted to stop at the local bagal store first so I droped him off there and took the car. I got home and was supposed to unload the dishwasher and look up classes in my area at college but got side tracked and forgot. I made cheese sticks and they kind of exploaded. I normally don't do pics here, but it belongs.

I put the cheese back in as best I could. They still tasted fine, as best frozen cheese sticks can taste.

Everyone went back today, except me. I had the house to myself. I went to the old high school to try to see people but only saw a few. I got my shot and vials. I watched the black cauldron for the first time and played some sonic generations. I will have to do a happy gamer for that game. I went to a boy scout meeting and saw everyone. That was quite fun. Cleaned for cleaning people. I really don't miss that. Later.

I love brad stine. We went to the salvation army today. 50% off. My brother got a trench coat and a blazer. I got simpons season 3, monopoly for the genesis, and batman mystery of the batwoman, or something close to that. I went looking for cargo jeans but alas. I love the salvation army.

Lat post of 2011. Had fun stuff. I hung out with zeldamaster93, but it took forever because his family was visiting and he had to say bye. Wow it took forever. We played ET at my house and rayman origins at his house. Good fun.

Swagbucks mislead me by saying that videogames will no longer be available. I worked my butt off so I could get gyromite, the cheapest game in my wish list. Turns out they're just hidden. Oh well.

I also went to a newyears party. Dick Clark was still at it. I'm gonna do a year in review blog. Later.
