Today was fun. I went to church like I do every Sunday, and then I went to see Spirited Away the 15th Anniversary screening with Fathom Events. I love Spirited Away, it's one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movie, and to see it in theaters was great. Next month there's a screening of Princes Mononoke, and I haven't seen it. I look forward to that. Later.

10/31/16 Happy Halloween

I had a fun Halloween everyone. On Friday I was "the highly visible man," at work. It's professional like, but still festive.

That was a fun day at work. Now on Halloween I gave out candy as an oddish.

A couple of older kids held out their bags without saying anything. I refused to give them candy unless they said "Trick or Treat." I had a couple of kids recognize the costume. Yay. My neighbor was Luke Skywalker, but he didn't have a blue light scaber so he used a red light scaber. I said he must be a parallel universe version of Luke where in Episode 5 he joins his dad and becomes a Sith lord. He liked that explanation. Later.

10/20/2016 still alive

Yeah it's been a while since I posted here. Sorry, full time job stuff is confidential. I can say this, I had to go in 3.5 hours early today (3:30 AM), and I got 4 hours of sleep the previous night because I couldn't fall asleep. I was tired, but also caffeinated, so it canceled out in a strange way. When I took my lunch at 7:15 AM, I was doing a tai chi sort of thing to concentrate my ki to keep me awake, it did. I hit a point where I just kept smiling. One of my co-workers said I looked really happy. I replied with "I'm not happy, I'm crazy. The madness is setting in. *crazy laugh.* I've been here since 3:30. *hahahahaha.*" I did do all the work I needed to do though. It was weird getting home when I did. Hopefully I can fall asleep tonight at a reasonable time so I can wake up at 2:15. Later.

Today was kind of fun. I went apartment scouting with my parents, just looking at the neighborhoods in and around my work. We went to Steak and Shake for lunch, and there was a guy strait out of Punk Rock 80s. Really, spiky mohawk, studded leather jacket, piercings, all of it. Yeah that was interesting. While looking we came across this cool videogame store. They sold everything. I bought Pitfall on Atari, Pitfall the Mayan Adventure on Genesis, and Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle on Genesis. I also saw a copy of Bonk's Adventure in the glass case for $549.99. That was cool seeing. Later.

Today was my first day on the job. Lots of learning and going over stuff. I uploaded my non-moniker update video to everything but dailymotion (my laptop is being weird with it, so I'll try to get it up soon). I also did some work on my new patreon page. Today I enjoyed my last day of unemployment. I did a dry run to where I will be reporting tomorrow. I went to mass and had palm sunday. I worked on some videos to digitize. I went to dinner with my family. Expect an update video tomorrow. Later.

Today I went shopping for work clothes. Why did I do that, because I'm starting a new job on Monday. Yay. Later.

Well I checked the nook store and there's no more apps. So glad I downloaded all the apps when I did. Today I worked on transferring Hi-8 tapes to digital. I did 4 tapes, and would have gotten 5 if my capture program didn't crash at the end of 1 of the tapes. I also did a lot of exercise, like over an hour's worth. I also rented Mad Max Furry Road and Room. I watched room, and it was great. But now I'm thinking about someone renting Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" and angrily returning it, and then the clerk goes "it's better, much better." Later.

Happy Pi Day. I worked on digitizing videos. I recorded some podcasts. I went to the dentist. My dad and I picked up our car that was in the shop. I did some exercise. I downloaded all the apps I wanted from the nook app store since it was the last day to get them. Not much after that. Later.

Today was great. I had an interview with a company. It went well. But the better is that I accepted a job offer for the company that I interned with. Yay. That was my day, and it was great. Later.

Happy international women's day. Thank-you deadpool, you know what for. Today was pretty fun. I did some weekly job follow-up, looking promising. I went to see Zootopia with mskate. Great movie, this week's podcast will be our review of it. This movie was made with an adult audience in mind. It's appropriate for children, but there is A LOT that will go over their heads. My dad and I picked-up the car that we had in the shop. Later.

Well lets start off with the dream I wish ended up being a reality. I dreamed I went to a store that was once a blockbuster video and they had a bunch of old video store signage that they would rather keep than throw out, but they would sell it if a buyer came along. I was that buyer, and I bought a VHS and DVD sign. Unfortunately all I have is my "thank-you for shopping at blockbuster" sign. Today I basically spent the day with my grandparents. We went out to lunch at Steak n Shake and through the use of coupons we saved like 8 dollars (and since it was stuff we would have bought anyways, it really was savings). After lunch we went to my uncle's grave as it is his 6 year anniversary today. That was a little hard. After that we went to their house and pulled some stuff out of their basement that they wanted to get rid of. They had some stuff they just wanted to throw out, but I said "no this is still kind of good, we can donate it," and we did, like $40 worth of stuff. After that it was home and much later I watched better call saul on AMC. Later.

So today I woke up an hour later than normal, which made me think it was daylight savings. I later found out that it in fact wasn't daylight savings, and I just slept later than normal. I worked on some VHS videos, but the elgato kept crashing so yeah. I sorted some pennies and watched hulu and showtime. I did some exercise. Later.

Today was alright. I watched showtime, sorted pennies, and tried to get a job. Hopefully people will start coming through with some video tapes and slides to digitize. I had to reinstall my slide converting software since we upgraded the vista desktop to 7. Later.

Today was pretty low key. I applied to a bunch of places, and with this long shot I emailed the guy that I thought I might need to contact saying "your ISO9001 certification says you're into quality and efficiency, I'm into quality and efficiency, here's my resume, please hire me." Their industry doesn't REALLY match my degree, so I figured I could be a little more eccentric in my unsolicited request for employment. I watched some pre-recorded fights on showtime boxing. I put out an ad on my mom's facebook for my new videotape to DVD side-business; I won't be able to make it my full time job based on how much I'm charging per hour of video and my equipment, but I would be able to do something more productive with my time as I wait on someone to get back to me. I'm getting a lot of responses and will probably be able to keep myself busy. Later.

Today was pretty good. I went to 10:45 church and visited with my grandparents. We went to see Hotel Transylvania 2. After the movie we went to Big Boy. I skyped with my brother. I also watched the oscars and it was a good show, jolly good show. Later.

Today was alright. I worked on an application and it asked for my "elementary school" and "area of study;" so what, coloring in the lines and making friends? I finished Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Hulu Plus, so now I need to find something else to watch on it. I filmed another "ask an engineer" science video for my mom, and I'll upload that tomorrow like I did with spongebob. If this keeps up I'm going to start a youtube channel for classroom learning aids made by me. I shoveled snow, a lot of it. Yay -_- Later.

Today was tiring. We got REALLY wet and heavy snow, and being unemployed meant I took care of it. I did it twice today. I also burned DVDs for a video digitizing business. I watched some hulu. I got the 2 hour pokemon memories podcast edited and rendered. I uploaded my "explaining spongebob" video to bitlanders and tune. I also digitized a couple of my family VHS tapes. Later.

Today was pretty low key. I went to some thrift stores to see what I could find, and I found some PS2 games and VHS tapes for gag gifts. I did some job searching, but to little breakthrough. I digitized some home movies. I watched hulu, and I'm waiting for my hulu plus free month to expire so I can get showtime again, because I want to watch me some shoboxing. I filmed a little "explaining a spongebob science joke" video for my mom's class. I might upload that to bitlanders and tune, because it's entertaining. Charlie the Unicorn is getting a kickstarter for a "final episode movie" and I'm thinking I will back it to get the collector's cards. Later.

Today was pretty good. I did some job hunting and got some good leads. I listed some stuff on eBay, trying to make some money while unemployed, and I'll list some more tomorrow. I watched Braveheart, and wow that was a long movie. I recorded a podcast on rocket power, and I'll probably upload that this week. I digitized some of my family VHS tapes. I want a job. Later.

Today went well. I watched a movie called High School Dreams, and it was funny. I had lunch with my grandparents, and it was a good time. Afterwards I went to the arcade to play a round of dance dance revolution. Afterwards I went to gamestop and got a Lucario amiibo and wired XBOX 360 controller, for the 2 PC games I have that are borderline unplayable with a mouse and keyboard. The games are now borderline playable now with a gamepad, however my PC still sucks for gaming and I'll use it when I have more players over for xbox 360 gaming. I did about an hour and a half of exercise. I stared sorting my pennies again. At the moment I'm doing by decade to just get a jump on sorting the hundreds of unsorted pennies I've gathered. Later.

Today was alright. I set-up an interview for Friday. I watched regular show on hulu. I digitized another family home video. I did some job hunt follow up. Today was alright. I watched some hulu, made some fried jalapenos, and worked on some job hunt stuff. I updated my website so now it has everything that I've uploaded. I also joined patreon. I haven't set up a patreon campaign, yet; this is for doing the $100 pledge for AniMat to get him to review the site. I haven't pledged yet, but I plan to soon. Later.

I had a pretty interesting past couple of days. I had an interview on the other side of the state. I think it went REALLY well, and I liked the company. I was also in an accident. I hit some black ice and slammed into a concrete median divider wall. I was on a single lane entrance ramp so I drove away from that. Then I was like "I'm driving alright, so I'm going to make it to my interview. After the interview I went to the Pokemon league since the company was close to my old college. After Pokemon I stayed with a friend. We played videogames and watched Bowfinger on Crackle. That was a funny movie. I got home the next day, after my friend and I did what we could to fix my car. I recorded a 2+ hour for the 20th anniversary of Pokemon. I told my history of Pokemon. That's the longest podcast I've done. I uploaded my podcasts on Young Justice and "Toys to fund the show." I also uploaded a new "Don't Watch" video that will go live tomorrow. First time ever using the scheduled upload function on Youtube. I went to church.
So have you heard about the controversy the Fine Brothers have gotten themselves in? Well they're apparently going after reaction videos and trying to trade mark "react." I'm kind of wondering if the "Future Young Adults React to a Book" video I made with my film club will get caught. It has only 15 views, so lets see. Regardless, it's still on the group's Break and Bitlanders channel, so it'll be live for a while.
So FOX is doing "Grease Live, a 3 Hour Event" tonight from 7 to 10; I'd rather have Bob's Burgers and Simpsons. Later.

Today was pretty good. I went to church. I watched some TV. I went with my parents to visit a priest friend and my mom's old church friends. It was OK, but it was mostly mom and her lady friends, so a little boring. I worked on my oddish cosplay. It's pretty good now. Later.

Well today was REALLY fun. I went to the auto show today. REALLY fun. I will do a blog on it in the coming days. I passed out some business cards, got to see some great cars, and had fun. I didn't really eat anything during the day though, so I devoured dinner. I got my full body suit today. It's great, though I need to make some mods to make my fern stay in it. Later.

Today was pretty tame. I called back to the company I interviewed with yesterday. I called back a company that reached out to me yesterday. I got paid for doing my bacon survey. I'll be doing a blog on that experience. I went to the arcade that was in the same mall as the market research firm and got 2 free games of DDR since someone put 4 extra credits in the machine. Yay. I got a good workout from 4 rounds of DDR. I'm essentially done unpacking my van from college. Now I can put the seats back in. I also plan on writing a critic critic on a thing from the nostalgia critic video on bridge to terrabithia, like a short bit to proof of concept. Later.

Well today was great. I got called back for an interview to one of the companies I applied to. I got an email from where I interned saying that they're still interested in me. I also got messaged on LinkedIn about a possible position. Really great. I also finished up my blog for the wild lights at the zoo. I also added a new section to my website, site exclusives. Today was pretty good. I went to church. I played some videogames. I watched showtime free weekend. I bought food and other goods for my hamster. My mom said "here's the coupon, get as close to $30 as you can." I bought fluff, and we didn't really need fluff. I said "well, next time give me a little more direction than 'buy the baby food and get close to $30.'" Yep. I made fried jalapenos and for a lunch snack and after making a mess I don't know when I'll do that again. Later.

Today was fine. I shipped a couple things, one for my mom and one for my ebay buyer. I brought in a bin of clothing from my van, now it's just a couple more things. For lunch I decided "I want a lot of meat" so I went to the Mongoleon buffet and ate like $15 worth of buffet meat. I applied to a bunch of positions at magna. Hopefully that works. I want to find a career. Later.

Today was "take pictures" day. I woke up at 8 AM to get my hair cut. I went to the local walk-in barber and turns out they open at 9 AM. Oh well. I got my hair cut. I went to pick up my grandparents. We went to the photo place. I took a bunch of pictures in my graduation get-up, and a couple in my suit in case I could get a good headshot for LinkedIn. Well it would have cost A LOT of money to get the digital copy of the pictures. We got a 1 pose package for relatively cheap, and it was hard to not let my grandparents get upsold. We went to Deney's for lunch. I had a big burger. We picked up the pictures after lunch. I looked around the mall after the pictures. After that I went home and all is good. I updated my LinkedIn, changed some settings on social networks, and uploaded graduation pictures to facebook. Later.

Today was yeah. I woke up, ate some breakfast, and did my thing. I shoveled a family friend's walkway and another friend's deck. I got a call back from a company, so YAY! I bought 2 Bakugan Battle Brawlers games from RiteAid for Wii and DS on 75% off fire sale. I don't know if I'll play them, but way cheap. I watched the Star Wars Holiday Special with a youtuber's commentary. Wow, that was a...thing. We went out to dinner with my mom's godson and his fiance. It was great to see them again. Later.

Today was pretty good. I applied to some more jobs. I edited my first teen titans go video. I shoveled some snow. I got my nerd cave wired up for the most part (a couple consoles aren't connected yet). I watched some hulu plus. Pretty much my day. Later.

Today was alright. I got home after watching the dog, and it was alright. I went to church. A friend and I took the dog to the kennel. There was a bit of a comedy routine that happened as we tried to get the dog in the harness. The dog enjoyed the car ride, but then got nervous because his world was turned up side down. I watched Fox Sunday Funday. Good time. I also wrote a script for a critic critic video. Later.

Today was alright. I got the funny picture of me in mskate's jacket. Here you go.

Yeah I'm larger than her. I helped clean the house, and went out to get a candle for my great aunt. While at the mall I tried out one of the massage chairs at the high end gadget store. I know what I'm getting when I have an extra $4,000. I got the shovel knight amiibo after checking a couple different stores. At night I dog sat for some family friends for the night. I think he's reconsidering sharing a bed with me, since I move around when I sleep. Later.

Today was pretty good. I saw my brother off as he left for college. I used up my costco gas cards to put gas in the car, I returned the digital audio cable I didn't end up needing to fix my grandpa's TV, I went to the mall to just walk around and browse for a little while since I was out there, and while I was there I was asked to do a market research survey for precooked bacon. They gave me free bacon, asked me to fill out a little journal thing of my opinions, and after a 2 week trial period I would get a check for some money. Free bacon and money, sweet. Later at night mskate and I went to see the peanuts movie. She was cold and was going to put on her jacket. As a gentleman, I offered her my 3 sizes larger jacket to lounge in (I know the feeling after lounging in my parents jackets). But since I'm her friend and not boyfriend, I asked for her jacket because our friendship is a 2-way street. It's funny because it's cute when a woman borrows a man's jacket that is large on her. It's funny because it's ridiculous when a man borrows a woman's jacket that is small on him. I will share the selfie when she sends it to me. Later.

Today was really great. My brother and I went to see our grandpa and spend the day with him. I fixed his TV, got him flour and water softener salt, showed him pictures of his great grandson (my oldest cousin's son), and set-up his DVD player. We also just visited. It was great to see him again. Afterwards we went to see our aunt, and showed her the baby pictures as well. She really loved them. That was most all my day. Later.

Today was pretty good. I did a little job searching. I went thrifting and found a a PS2 game and case. The PS2 game was $3 and the case was free (it was $3 but without the game the cashier just gave it to me). I bought a filing cabinet at another store and I'm going to use it for storage of gaming stuff. Vertical storage is great. Utilize 3D storage everyone. I went to an indipendent store and I didn't find anything. OK, I found CRT TVs, but I don't have the space for them at the moment. I will remember the store and go there once I get the space. I also saw this thing on Shark Tank; an adult sand box with industrial construction equipment. I found where I want to have my next birthday party. Later.

Today was pretty good. I worked on applying for jobs, unpacking college stuff, and converting old home movies. I filmed a Teen Titans Go video I wrote a month ago. A college friend asked to borrow some class materials, and I said he could stop by and pick them up in person. It's about a 3 hour drive from my house to my old college, but it took him like 5 hours to get here. Apparently there was an accident. It was great seeing him again, even if it was a very short visit. I watched Transformers Age of Extinction. The only other Bay Transformers movie I saw was the first one, and I must say that this one was better. Sure, neither were really all that good, but at least Mark Wahlberg is a believable character and actor, and a lot of focus was put on the Transformers and not Shei LeBeouf. But there's not really enough for either of them to do a full review of, so I won't (maybe a podcast but not blogger or bitlanders text review, and certainly not a video review). Later.

Today was a day of apply to jobs. I woke up, ate some breakfast, and started applying to all the major companies I know, or could remember at the time. I applied to everything I was qualified for and mostly within my desires for self actualization. Here's to hoping. I also unloaded some of my college stuff and got set-up to convert our home movies to digital. I tried with 2 different tapes, but elgato kept crashing on me. I wonder if I need to reinstall it. Oh well. I finished my star wars episode 7 reviews (Spoiler Free and Spoiler Full), yay. Now I just need to finish christmas and write the zoo lights blog. Later

Wow, a new year. I still need to finish my Christmas Blog and now do my new years blog. Today I had a party with my camping friends (speaking of which I need to write those blogs as well. I have the audio notes recorded). We talked about the future of our yearly camping weekend and where we will go since our usual place is having trouble with swimmers itch. We also just hung out. I saw my godfather and his family (they're in the camping group) and his family. They have a toddler who likes carrots and celery. That works good for me, because I don't like the carrots and celery that comes with chicken noodle soup. I ate the noodles and broth, he ate the carrots and celery. It was a good day. I need to start sending in applications for a job now. Later.
