Today had it's ups and downs. I spent 6 hours working on homework problems that my teacher didn't teach us. Yeah, that sucked. I had my tau beta pi meeting. Then I had my filmmakers meeting. I spent a good 30 minutes trying to explain a very convoluted movie idea. Later.

Today, well we should have had a snow day. I saw a car spin out on my walk to the bus stop and I think I might have a small bit of frost bite on my right pinky. My circuits professor showed up 30 minutes late to class. I had operations, simulations, and ergo. Long day. Later.

Woops, sorry about forgetting yesterday. I had a snow day and was going to do some productive things, like laundry, but I ended up marathoning Breaking Bad. Ended up watching like 12 episodes. I went to bed early because I felt really tired. I don't know if it's just very tiring watching 12 episodes of breaking bad in 1 sitting, or I was just so upset with my choices that I just couldn't stay up any longer. Whatever. Later.

Today was nice. I want to church and walked in the street due to the snow. I found out that if I slather the dorm pizza in hot sauce, it makes the gooey dough and burnt cheese not only tolerable but actually good. Really gives you a kick, but good. I did homework and watched TV. I skyped mskate, and that was fun talking to her. Later.

1/23-24/14

Woops, forgot to blog yesterday. I talked to my advisor about doing accelerated masters. I had my filmmakers club. Good time. Today was bad. It was like -9 degrees here. My beard froze on my way to the bus stop. My gloves basically stopped working. I'm still getting over the frozen-ness. I had circuits, simulations, and operations. Talked with the guy in charge of the masters program. I think I might go for it. We didn't have pokemon league tonight because of the cold. I also applied to be an official user with dailymotion. I was a motionmaker, but that didn't do for me what I wanted it to do. Later.

Today was not the best day. Normal day's classes, so nothing special there. Then I got an email that said "you'll need a laptop for class today," and I didn't have the time to get to my dorm. I tried to get to my dorm, but then I realized that in the time to get to my dorm, get my laptop, and get back to the bus stop was longer than the amount of time I had before the bus left. I turned out not needing it. Oh well, later.

Today was fine. I woke up at 9 surprisingly. I thought I just had to pee or something. Turns out I was fully awake. I did work on my homework. I marathoned a many episodes of Breaking Bad. I skyped my parents. I'm quite happy. I cracked my window and now my room is a perfect tempurature. The rapid shift between cold and hot in my room was making me feel under the weather some. Now it's perfect. Later.

Today was...well it had it's ups and downs. I worked on my lab report and my ergo assignment. I began to feel sick, partly because it was to hot in my room. Right now I have the window open letting cold in. I watched power puff girls. Unfortunately my dining hall was closed so I had to walk to a different one. Not fun. Later.

Today was ok. I had my classes; circuits, simulations, and operations. I talked with one of my friends and he's interested in helping out with a 1-minute short I'm making. I went to my pokemon league. Fun time. Later.

Look, I'm actually making the blog on the day. I had my crazy wednesday, circuits, simulations, operations, engineer econ, and ergo lecture and lab. I need to drop econ again. People describe it as "a full semester of business classes and a calculus class." Now as an engineer, I laugh at business classes. I had 2, they were kind of jokes; and calculus is basic stuff. However, think 4-5 business classes, a calculus class, and 4 heavy engineering classes, well that's 26-30 credits. lol. Next semester I'm taking engineering econ and 3 classes for my minor/gen-eds. I'm done. Later.

Today I pretty much spent the entire day working on homework and goofing off. I got most of my work done, and now I just have some left to do tomorrow. Good news is I got my Best Buy order, Dragon Ball GT the complete series, Power Puff Girls the complete series, and the Frozen Soundtrack. I edited together my review of the frogger lottery ticket. Today was good. I had Circuits, Simulations, Operations, and Engineer econ. I talked to a couple of engineering friends to see if they'd be interested in acting in a short film. Some were, some weren't. I went to the pokemon league. This is the first time my bug catcher rainbow deck ever won. Later.

Woops, forgot to post yesterday. I had no classes so I spent the day working on assignments. I also spent time having fun. I had my film club meeting and I pitched a couple of scripts I wrote. I think we might make them. Later.

Oh man, today hit me like a brick wall. I had a little trouble falling asleep last night, so not the most restful. Stupid drunk people being super loud. Then they didn't have my tea in the dinning hall. I like lemon and black, and occasionally raspberry. I don't like earl grey, or cinnamon blend, or any of that. So I didn't have my morning wake-up and kidney kickstarter. Oh well. I got my stuff and headed to the bus stop. Now I'm not complaining about the cold. I had my nice warm hat and fluffy winter jacket and boots, but the icicles that formed on my beard and mustache and the below freezing temperature air being inhaled, not fun. Then, oh man, class almost non-stop from 9:30 AM to 3:10 PM, and that's only because the lab got out early. By the end of the day I was having trouble interacting with the world. I was getting the picture and audio, but I wasn't interacting. I need to bring more food for my bag lunch and remember to bring a water bottle. I know it's dehydration. I took a shower right when I got back, because when I get dehydration headaches, the water and steam like takes the head pain and distributes it to the rest of my body, so instead of hydraulic presses on my temples, I get basically a text books sitting on other parts of my body. Reentry. Oi. Luckily tomorrow I have the day to catch-up. Later.

Today was great. I filmed the rest of the Frogger lottery ticket video. I finished, well "actually did" is more accurate, the Christmas blog. I made the trek to the bookstore but they were closed, again. I took note of the hyper cold temperature. Anyone who says "global warming is real," tell that to my frozen beard that came from 1 minute of just standing there. I watched Spaceballs and Taxi Driver. I love Spaceballs. Super funny movie. I'm conflicted though about Taxi Driver. I didn't really like it but I didn't really dislike it. It wasn't really OK but it wasn't bad. I don't know. I played a little OUYA. I ordered a ton of stuff from best buy. I finished writing the first draft of "Der PC's Face." I still need to work on some rhymes and syllables, but overall it's really funny. I was going to record, but I was to tired to do that. Well tomorrow I have school. I came here feeling "but break just doesn't feel full, it isn't complete." Then I had these snow days, and now break feels full. I'm not looking forward to this semester, but I'm ready for it. Later

Today was great. I had a snow day. I was supposed to have class, but we had so much snow and it was so cold, no first day of the new semester. Basically what I did today was some more unpacking, washed my sheets and pillow cases, and watching Breaking Bad and youtube subscriptions. I went to the book store, but it was closed. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow. The only casualty is that the cable was out. Thank-you OUYA and hulu plus though. Later.

Well first I made the trek to church. It was quite the trek. I ate ramen for lunch not knowing that the dinning hall was open. I spent time winning points through bing rewards and swagbucks. Yay free stuff. I played with the OUYA. I went to get food at the caf when I found out it was open. They had BBQ rib sandwiches and hot roast beef sandwiches. Happy day. I watched animation domination of FOX. Good news, my first day of the next semester was canceled because of bad weather. Man, if I knew where I could buy lotto here at school, I'd get a scratch off I'm feeling so lucky. Later.

Woops, forgot to do this one yesterday. Basically what happened was I went back to college. I packed up all my stuff, boarded the train, and traveled across the state to my college. I got back, unpacked my stuff. Set up the ouya. Watched TV and hulu. I did a hang out with some google plus friends during toonami. That was fun. Later.

Today was a nice last day of break. I had an appointment with my allergist. Good health. I redeemed my winning frogger ticket. I hung out with mbinski and we played ouya. With enough work, I think I could make a true believer out of him. His feelings for ever getting one started out as a strong "No, it's stupid," but evolved to a "eeehhh...prob-ably nott." After hanging out, it was time for dinner. We went to applebees. After dinner, we watched "Pooh's Grand Adventure" since we weren't able to do our back to school tradition before the beginning of the school year. Oh well. Later.

Happy day after new years. I almost went to bed before writing this. I can't believe I almost broke my resolution 2 days into new years. Anyways, today was really fun. I spent the day with my awesome nerdy cousin and aunt, and my uncle who just thinks my mom and aunt are crazy. My aunt was a pokemon league gym leader in the TCG league. That's really cool, and I didn't know that about her until she wore her official gym leader T-Shirt today. We saw my uncle's workshop and that was really cool to see an actual, professional industrial shop, not just the shops we have at my school. I tested out my Action 52 with them because they have a working NES and I still need to fix the 72 pin connector on mine. It worked, and it was awesome. AVGN was right, it is quite bad; some of the games are decent, it has a really cool opening screen, the cartridge itself is really cool with it's clear plastic and whatnot, and for such a historic game, it was well worth the $200. Unfortunately the value dropped according to price charting, but whatever. We had fun playing the bad games, maybe played 10 of the games. I tried out Cheetahmen and that was cool. After playing the Action 52, we played "Wits End," a game of logic and trivia. We played old people vs. young people. Us young people lost. Oh well. I filmed my video on the frogger instant win lottery tickets. Well, I filmed the "playing the ticket," portion. I still need to film the "second chance game" portion. But I'll do that when I get back to my dorm. Later.

Happy new year. As per my new years resolution of actually doing a blog here every day except when I physically can't, like when camping, here's to the new year. Today I basically spent the day with my grandparents. We went to see Saving Mr. Banks. Good movie. Might review it. After that we went to the Golden Corral. In the morning I played Oddworld Munch's Odyssey. Great Game. Later tonight I plan on filming a lets play/review of the Frogger Scratch Off Lottery Ticket. Later.
