2/28/15

Today was good. I updated the sites I manage, something I should have done a long time ago. I also was on the colexions international show and tell panel through google plus. It was fun. I showed off a bunch of TV on DVD sets I have. Uploaded my 1 hour podcast on being a picky eater. Now I'm doing a google hangout with ZeldaMaster93 watching Toonami. Later.

2/27/15

Today was an interesting day. I did laundry, nothing surprising there. I did my encoding of my hour long podcast, and it took all day to encode. I started encoding at 10 AM and it stopped at about 11 PM. Then at the Pokemon League, one of my friend's got a speeding ticket, and I found out I've been watching to much It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Why? Well he wanted a way to get out of it, and I suggested, with a level of seriousness, to break his speedometer and say "well I didn't know how fast I was going because my speedometer was broken." He then said "yeah but getting it fixed would cost more than the ticket and it's illegal to drive without a speedometer." That was a "gang" style plan from Sunny. Then during the game, we do a 6 player free for all, where everyone battles everyone. I have a wigglytuff that has a poke-power that "puts all active Pokemon to sleep." The idea is that for one on one, it puts you and your opponent to sleep, but for our battle, we interpreted that as "all 6 people's Pokemon are asleep," and I have a bit of a reputation of putting people to sleep. That was really funny. Later.
Oh, I also updated Opera, but instead of replacing the old version, it kept the old version in addition to adding the new one. I'm going to play around with that later probably. lol

2/26/14

Today was good. I had my classes. Kind of funny thing happened. In my logistics class, my professor asked "what's the best method of forecasting?" I just start laughing. Not out loud bust a gut, but chuckling under my breath and bending over to contain myself. The professor knows me a little, knows that I know my stuff and what not. He asks me what I thought and I just said "none, they all suck. I've tried every one of them, you just can't predict the future." Not exactly the answer he was going for, but he liked the idea. It was a little PTSD from my operations and productions class.

Well after class stuff, I filmed a 1 hour podcast on being a picky eater and why there's nothing wrong with it. 15+ years of repressed social stigma, longest podcast to date. Then at my film club we filmed future young adults react to a book. That was fun. Later.

Today was pretty typical. I had my purchasing and logistics classes. I got my allergy shot. I also skyped my brother, and that was fun. Later.

Today was pretty good. The main thing I had was a presentation for my senior project. We got the green light to continue. Didn't do much else after. Later.

2/21-22/15

Today and yesterday was quite fun. My mom and her best friend came up to visit her friend's son and I at college, her friend to see a hockey game, and for mom and I to see Spongebob Sponge out of Water. Read the review here. I did the safe ride service on saturday night. It was crazy. We got stuck in a snow drift. I got out to push and fell in the snow. I eventually got behind the wheel and aggressively rocked us out of the drift. Then I ended up working until 5 AM with that. Oh, and my suit mates decided to be loud at 11 AM, so I'm tired. Today I went out to linner with the whole group, and had riblets at Applebies. They were good. Now I'm watching The Oscars. I'm going to do a thing, probably a podcast. Later.

2/19/15

Today I was able to abstain from meat. Yay. I had my purchasing and logistics classes. I worked on my senior project. I had my film club meeting, and it was equipment night, where we show off and demonstrate how to use our equipment. Everyone has their fancy DSLR cameras with different lenses, and I show off my webcam I got from mycokerewards. They're like "here's now you control white balance, and here's the difference between the lenses, and how you control exposure, etc," and I'm just like "this is my webcam, it takes decent quality video, it works directly with my web cam software, it has LED lights that add more lighting if needed."
