9/1-9/3/2018

This weekend was interesting. The night before I watched The Last Airbender (the crappy live action movie) and filmed a new review on it. It's interesting. On Saturday my parents came to visit to give me a dining room table. It was an OK visit, but it would have been better if they didn't keep trying to clean my house. They kept wanting to reorganize everything and I'm like "no, I like it the way it is." It probably would have been a longer visit, if it wasn't for the fact that they're constant trying to change my space wasn't stressing me out. Dad realized it was stressing me, and left shortly after that. I spent the rest of the day editing and watching movies. Sunday I did some editing and gaming. It's been too long since I played my games. Monday I finished editing my Teen Titans Go To The Movies review, and went to see Death of a Nation. I then went to bed at 8PM because I had a headache, and then woke up at 4:30 AM. I wanted to record a podcast or 2, but I was just too lethargic, so instead I recorded it before work because I had an extra hour before I had to leave. Oh, and Amazon prime took down Batman the Animated Series, so now I need to find a new cartoon to watch in the morning. Later.

8/18-8/19

Saturday was pretty good. I did a bunch of home chores, and they've been needing. I also moved my stuff into my new lease car. I uploaded my review of Steak and Shake Garlic Burger. I watched movies on hulu, which was good. I also played videogames, a hobby I don't really have enough time to do much anymore. And I got my nerd cave more set-up. All went pretty good.

Sunday was great. I went to church and it was good. But the big thing, was I recorded 2 podcasts and filmed 2 videos. The videos were ones I've been meaning to make for a while now, but I've been busy the last month. But they're done now, yay. Later.

8/11-8/12/18

I spent the weekend with my Grandpa. We did some chores for him, including home improvement projects. I brought my laptop with me hoping to play all the games I have through twitch prime, but unfortunately I needed internet access (which grandpa didn't have). Oh well, I played some of my steam games then. His city has a little theater, and they were playing Skyscraper. I saw it and made a review of it. Later.

8/4-8/5

This was a fun weekend. I had to go into work at 5AM for a special observation, and that only lasted an hour. The night before I had a dream I was a golf caddie again, as a 25 year old that hasn't done that in 8 years. I think the psychology behind that is "the last time I had to wake up this early on a Saturday was when I was a caddie." Anyhoo, after finishing the assignment I came home and around 9AM I'm like "I'm hungry, but it's only 9AM, but I guess I have been up for 5 hours, so maybe I should eat something." I went to Big Boy for the breakfast buffet; it's a pretty decent value if you go really hungry and eat a lot. The powder sugar waffles were really good. In the afternoon I went to Sailor Moon Supers the movie dressed as Tuxedo Mask. That was fun, and it was a good movie. I'll get the podcast uploaded at some point. Nothing else spectacular on Saturday.

Sunday was a special gathering with my family. My aunts and cousins came over to my parents house and it was lots of fun. I hung out with PepperBC and other relatives. Pretty fun time. Basically just visiting. Later.

7/7-8/18

The past 2 days were pretty calm. Saturday I woke up and played Tumblestone while watching Gold Rush before it expires from hulu. Then I remembered I wanted to go to Fireworks, an anime movie distributed through Fathom Events. I'll get a review made soon, it was a good slice of life anime movie that dealt with altering reality to redo events. One thing that I tried to do on Friday was get a windows phone activated on Verizon, but apparently it wasn't compatible with Verizon's network, so I had to send it back. I took it to a BP gas station that also does post office mailing. Honestly it was quite funny because it looks like a gas station convenience store, except for 1 corner that looks like a post office. The clerk that was working the main convenience store register watching soccer had to run over to the post office register and ring me up. Kind of funny.

Sunday pretty low key. Went to church and went to the grocery. They were having a buy one get one free deal on chuck roasts. I bought 2 (of course) and some other things like a head of lettuce and condiments (because I'm running low on some). I also had a coupon for $5 off $25, so that saved me some money. I made 1 of the roasts and had part of it for dinner. The rest I made into freezer dinners for later. I uploaded my Solo review. What an unfortunate movie. I also did a fair amount of tiding yo that was really needed. Later.

7/4/18, Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July, America's Independence Day. Today I had plans, like clean my house and film 2 videos, but I just enjoyed a lazy morning watching Gold Rush on hulu before it expires. I did film characters vs screen names, the real problem with animat, and recorded a podcast for Solo A Star Wars Fanfiction (I refuse to call it "A Star Wars Story" for reasons I will explain in my podcast) after seeing it in an almost sold out show. At about 10PM I lit off some fireworks, because I'm American and it's customary to light off explosives in the street to celebrate. I set-up some fireworks incorrectly, and I'm lucky I didn't get hit, though I think a couple of them got vaporized since I only found half of the shells I lit off. I was going to go shopping today, but all the sales and coupons go on sale tomorrow. Oh well. Later.

7/1/18

Today was alright. Mskate texted me and woke me up at 7AM. I probably would have slept more, but good to wake up and go through Sunday a little sleepy so I can fall asleep early enough to wake up at 6 Monday. I watched How It's Made until it was time to go to church. It was a good mass. I went to my parents to pick-up my Journey (they borrowed it for the Tennessee trip, which I'm currently writing a blog about). I got the DVD project I'm working on, and it's almost done. We went to a local barbecue place for lunch, and I got some left overs. I looked frantically for my 3DS at their house, because I thought I left it there, but I didn't (I misplaced it on Father's day, sometime between when I was at their house and getting back to my house). Well when I got back home I turned my laptop bag over and out it fell. Weird, I checked my laptop bag at least 5 times. Well I got it now, so yay. I did a lot of work on my Tennessee blog, mainly writing. Hopefully I'll get it out before the end of the week. I did the dishes and put my light t-shirts in a detergent soak, because I'm getting to the point where I need to wash my t-shirts. Later.
